Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Architect with 15+ years of SAP experience, including 10+ years of extensive SAP EWM experience, to provide architecture leadership for enterprise warehouse and supply chain solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of SAP EWM architecture, warehouse process expertise, S/4HANA knowledge, solution design, business engagement, and architecture governance. This position requires someone who can operate at both the strategic and technical levels while partnering with business leaders, IT stakeholders, and project teams.

Work Location

Flexibility to work from the Mundelein, IL or Waukegan, IL office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite three days per week.
Additional flexibility may be available based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the SAP EWM Solution Architect and provide overall technical and functional architecture leadership.
Design scalable, high-performance SAP EWM solutions aligned with business and operational objectives.
Develop solution architecture, integration strategies, and technical design for complex warehouse environments.
Lead architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and technical discussions.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand warehouse and distribution requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Lead business workshops and provide recommendations based on SAP best practices.
Establish and maintain architecture governance and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
Provide strategic direction for SAP EWM implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with SAP S/4HANA and other supply chain teams to ensure end-to-end solution integration.
Provide architectural guidance for warehouse automation, robotics, and related technology integrations.
Evaluate existing warehouse processes and recommend opportunities for optimization and transformation.
Engage with senior and executive stakeholders to communicate architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to SAP EWM consultants and project teams.
Support long-term SAP EWM strategy and roadmap development.

Required Qualifications

15+ years of SAP experience, including 10+ years of SAP EWM experience.
Proven experience as an SAP EWM Solution Architect or EWM Architect.
Deep expertise in SAP EWM warehouse and distribution processes.
Strong knowledge of:
- Inbound and outbound processing
- Inventory management
- Picking and packing
- Putaway
- Replenishment
- Warehouse automation
- Labor management
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and integrated supply chain solutions.
Extensive experience with SAP EWM solution architecture and implementation.
Experience leading business workshops and architecture reviews.
Experience working with senior and executive stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of SAP integration and enterprise architecture concepts.
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP EWM Certification.
Experience with warehouse automation and robotics.
Knowledge of WCS/WES integration.
SAP TM integration experience.
Experience working within an SAP Center of Excellence (CoE).
Experience in large-scale distribution, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain environments.
Experience with complex, high-volume warehouse operations.

Compensation & Employment

$80/HR on W2
W2 ONLY
No C2C, Corp-to-Corp, or 1099 arrangements.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
