Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP EWM Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing delivery of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP EWM and S/4HANA, a deep understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to lead EWM functional activities while working closely with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an experienced EWM professional who can take ownership of the EWM workstream and provide hands-on leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Work Location

Flexibility to work from the Indianapolis, IN
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite three days per week.
Additional flexibility may be available based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP EWM functional activities throughout implementation and enhancement projects.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP EWM solutions.
Configure and support SAP EWM functionality based on business requirements.
Work closely with warehouse operations and business teams to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Support end-to-end warehouse processes including:
- Inbound
- Outbound
- Picking
- Packing
- Putaway
- Replenishment
- Inventory management
- Physical inventory
- Warehouse movements
Lead functional workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for development activities.
Work with integration teams to support EWM integration with SAP S/4HANA and other systems.
Support testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
Coordinate with offshore/onshore team members and implementation partners.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior EWM consultants.
Support cutover, go-live, stabilization, and post-production activities.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.
Ensure SAP EWM solutions follow established business and technical standards.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of SAP experience, with significant hands-on experience in SAP EWM.
Strong experience implementing and supporting SAP EWM solutions.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management and distribution processes.
Experience with EWM configuration and functional solution delivery.
Experience with inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, packing, putaway, and replenishment processes.
Experience working with business users and technical teams.
Experience leading functional workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with SAP testing, implementation, and production support.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with warehouse automation.
Knowledge of WCS/WES integrations.
Experience with SAP TM integration.
SAP EWM Certification.
Experience in large-scale distribution, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain environments.
Experience working with globally distributed teams.
Prior experience leading an EWM functional team or workstream.

Compensation & Employment

$65/HR on W2
W2 ONLY
No C2C, Corp-to-Corp, or 1099 arrangements.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
