Job Description:

About the Role
We are seeking 4 Lead Java Engineers for long-term contract roles. These are onsite positions with a strong preference for New York candidates, though we are open to San Francisco as well.
The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of software engineering experience (including 3+ years in a lead capacity) and expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, and AWS. You should have proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications and leading teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Interview Process

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor backend engineering teams.
- Drive discussions and decisions on architecture and design for complex features.
- Build enterprise-grade backend services using Java 17 / Spring Boot.
- Manage source control with Git, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Work with SQL databases, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Write technical documentation and maintain Confluence pages.
- Implement automated testing integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with risk management and data security policies.
Minimum Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

✅ Advanced expertise in Java (Java 17), Spring Boot, REST API design.
