Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to support digital initiatives for a leading organization in the manufacturing and heavy equipment domain. This is a 12-month onsite contract role in Chicago, IL, requiring a designer with strong expertise in user-centered design, enterprise applications, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design user experiences for enterprise applications and digital platforms in the manufacturing/heavy equipment industry.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and interviews to gather insights.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align solutions with user and business needs.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across all digital products.
• Present design concepts, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Contribute to design systems and maintain brand/design standards.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of UX design experience (enterprise, industrial, or manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing design process, wireframes, and final product examples.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and design thinking.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Active LinkedIn profile required to apply.
