Senior SAP PP Lead

Location: Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Compensation: MX$75,000–80,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP PP Lead to support our client in Mexicali. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and manufacturing processes and be comfortable working with business users, functional teams, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP functional activities including configuration, enhancements, testing, and production support.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
• Configure and support:
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Production Orders
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Work Centers
  • Routings
  • Demand Management
  • Capacity Planning
  • Production Scheduling
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, and supply-chain teams.
• Support integration between SAP PP and MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and FI/CO.
• Troubleshoot SAP PP issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
• Lead testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Participate in process improvements and SAP enhancement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to business users and other SAP team members.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on SAP PP experience.
• Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on experience with MRP, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of SAP PP integration with other SAP modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or support is a plus.

Preferred

• SAP PP certification.
• Experience with S/4HANA Production Planning.
• Experience in automotive or discrete manufacturing.
• Experience working with multinational/global teams.
• English communication skills.
