Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis with Security Consultant to support our enterprise SAP landscape for a leading computer hardware organization based in Fremont, CA. This onsite role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in SAP Basis administration, security design, system monitoring, and user access management, ideally in a high-tech or hardware manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Perform SAP Basis administration tasks including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, and troubleshooting of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).

✅ Manage and monitor SAP system performance, availability, and capacity.

✅ Implement and maintain SAP Security roles, authorizations, and user management across various SAP modules.

✅ Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to ensure system integrity, performance, and compliance.

✅ Conduct system copies, client copies, and refreshes for QA and sandbox systems.

✅ Support SOX and audit compliance initiatives through role design and segregation of duties (SoD) reviews.

✅ Apply SAP security patches (SAP Notes) and coordinate with stakeholders for testing and deployment.

✅ Perform regular system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning and testing.

✅ Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, procedures, and support logs.

✅ Participate in 24×7 on-call support rotation for SAP systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

✅ 12+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with at least 5years focusing on SAP Security administration.

✅ Strong experience with S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA DB.

✅ Experience implementing and supporting SAP security in a multi-system landscape including ECC, BW, PI, and Solution Manager.

✅ Proficient in SAP GRC tools and SoD analysis.

✅ Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS environments and related SAP application deployments.

✅ Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., SOX, GDPR compliance).

✅Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

✅ SAP certifications in Basis and/or Security.

✅ Experience in hardware manufacturing or high-tech environments.

✅ Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., CPI, PI/PO) and cloud-based SAP components (e.g., SAP BTP).
