Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Frontend React Developer with 12+ years of professional software development experience and strong expertise in modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.

The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, scalable, and responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable and maintainable UI components and frontend architecture.
• Develop complex user interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement state management using technologies such as Redux or equivalent frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and backend engineers.
• Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality frontend solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write unit and integration tests and support automated testing practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and frontend architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern React development.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
• Extensive experience developing enterprise-level web applications.
• Strong understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, state management, and reusable components.
• Experience with Redux or similar state-management solutions.
• Strong experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of browser compatibility, frontend performance, and web application security.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications.
• Experience with modern frontend build tools and development workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and distributed development teams.
• Experience with cloud-based development environments.
• Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.

Candidate Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience is required.
• W2 ONLY. No C2C, Corp-to-Corp, or 1099.
• Candidates must be local to Malvern, PA or nearby states.
• Candidates must be able to commute to Malvern, PA as required by the project.
• All visa statuses are welcome, provided the candidate has valid U.S. work authorization.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
• Compensation: $50–$55/HR on W2, based on experience and qualifications.
