About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned Senior C++ Developer to join our Chicago-based engineering team on a 12-month W2 contract at $60/hr. This is an onsite role for someone who excels in performance-driven environments and enjoys modernizing large, mission-critical codebases supporting enterprise security products.

You’ll collaborate with a high-caliber engineering group and play a key role in technical upgrades, architecture decisions, and system performance improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Build, enhance, and optimize high-performance applications using C++14/17, STL, and Boost
• Work with Linux systems programming, secure coding frameworks, and cloud-ready designs
• Develop and integrate REST services
• Contribute to modernization and large-scale refactoring efforts
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Collaborate closely with onsite Chicago engineering teams
• Own features and modules end-to-end

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of professional experience with modern C++ (C++14/17)
• Strong expertise in STL, Boost, multithreading, and performance optimization
• Solid background in Linux, systems programming, and secure coding practices
• Experience building RESTful services
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago and complete an in-person interview
• Strong communication and analytical skills
