Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD OTC Consultant to join our client in the energy sector, supporting their S/4HANA transformation and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes tailored to the utilities and energy domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead or support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD OTC processes in S/4HANA.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions aligned with energy sector practices (e.g., commodity sales, contract billing, energy distribution).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP FI, MM, TM, and EWM to ensure seamless integration.

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and deliver process improvements.

Configure and support key SD functionalities: sales order processing, billing, pricing, delivery processing, and credit management.

Handle integration with third-party systems (e.g., customer portals, metering, billing engines).

Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.

Conduct testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and support training and change management activities.

Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-go-live stabilization.

Provide production support and continuous improvement for OTC processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 15+  years of SAP SD experience with a strong focus on OTC.

At least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation in the SD domain (preferred in the energy/utilities industry).

Experience with SAP billing, pricing procedures, contracts, delivery & shipment, and returns processing.

Knowledge of industry-specific billing models in the energy sector (e.g., usage-based, time-of-use).

Familiarity with SAP IS-U (SAP for Utilities) or integration with energy billing platforms is a plus.

Strong integration experience with SAP FI (Accounts Receivable), TM, and MM.

Proficient in writing functional specs and working with technical teams.

Excellent communication skills with business-facing experience.

Experience working in Agile or Project Operating Model (POM) environments is an advantage.

Nice to Have:

Experience with SAP BRIM, CRM, or hybris in the context of energy solutions.

Familiarity with Regulatory Reporting or Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM). SAP certification in SD or S/4HANA Sales
