We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP EP (Enterprise Portal) Java Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Enterprise Portal development, Java programming, and web technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Portal applications and ensuring they align with business needs and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP EP applications using Java, Web Dynpro, and other SAP tools.
- Customize and enhance SAP Portal components, worksets, iViews, and roles to meet business requirements.
- Implement SAP EP configurations, including portal themes, layouts, and navigation structures.
- Develop and maintain custom Java applications and services within the SAP EP environment.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Java-based applications in the SAP EP
- Utilize web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML to develop user-friendly interfaces for SAP EP.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of SAP Portal applications.
- Integrate SAP EP applications with backend systems using web services (SOAP/REST) and APIs.
Requirements:
- Java based SAP EP maintenance and support (hands-on) and transform by learning.
- Experience in working environments using Agile (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Experience working on Web Services SOAP, WSDL, RESTful Web Services, Microservices, JAX-RS, JAX-WS.
- Experience in developing, deploying, and managing N-tier server centric enterprise J2EE applications Eclipse IDE with Java web technologies like Servlets, JSPs, JSTL, JSF and JNDI and enterprise technologies like EJB and JMS
- Good Experience in design patterns like Singleton, DAO, Session façade, Front controller, and delegate pattern.
Functional Experience:
- Analyze all user requests to determine if change to the system is necessary.
- Work with users on a day-to-day basis to answer any system questions or concerns they may have.
- Analyze, Design, Develop, and Implement projects/program changes to your system.
- Work with all outside vendors that interface with your system when necessary
