Oracle HCM Core HR Functional Consultant
Location: Remote + 10%-20% Travel in month to DC (Expenses Paid)
Duration: 6-9+ Months (Possible Extension)

Hourly Rate: $70/HR on W2 + Expenses

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Core HR functional lead who deeply understands HR foundational concepts — business units, job and position hierarchies, and overall enterprise structure — and can walk into an existing, live HR system and identify the impact of legal entity, business unit, location, and department changes. This is a functional, hands-on role: the person should be comfortable getting into the system directly to trace impacts, not just advise at a high level

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the HR team to assess the impact of the legal entity / business unit / location / department restructure on the existing Core HR foundation.
• Participate in and help drive the detailed design phase for HR, working from the finance team’s completed global design.
• Get hands-on in the system to trace and validate impacts (e.g., “if this legal entity changes, here is what breaks or shifts downstream”).
• Act as a subject-matter expert during the early design/decision-making period, working closely with an offshore team who will handle day-to-day configuration.

Required Experience

• Multiple full-lifecycle Oracle Core HR implementations, 
• Strong grasp of Oracle HCM foundation objects: business units, departments, jobs, positions, and enterprise/work structures.
• Comfortable working hands-on in the system directly rather than purely advising
