Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Angular Developer with 12+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Angular 16 for a 12-month W2 contract opportunity in McLean, VA. This role requires technical leadership, deep front-end expertise, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale web applications using Angular 16
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and code reviews to front-end teams
• Architect scalable, reusable, and high-performance UI components
• Work closely with UX, backend, and DevOps teams
• Ensure best practices for performance, security, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot complex UI issues and drive root-cause analysis
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular 16 (mandatory)
• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
• Experience with RxJS, NgRx, Angular CLI, and REST APIs
• Strong understanding of component architecture and state management
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest)
