Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IAM Consultant / Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA). The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Saviynt (preferred) or SailPoint, along with exposure to PAM and SSO technologies. This is an onsite role requiring a highly technical professional capable of managing application onboarding, connector integrations, IAM troubleshooting, and client/stakeholder engagement.
Local Houston candidates only. No C2C. W2 contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions with a focus on IGA (Saviynt/SailPoint).
- Perform application onboarding and connector integration across diverse systems and applications.
- Configure policies, roles, workflows, and access models within IGA tools.
- Manage and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea.
- Configure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to provisioning, certification, authentication, and authorization.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand access requirements and ensure compliance.
- Support architecture reviews and contribute to strategic IAM improvements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks, procedures, and configuration details.
Required Skills & Experience
Overall: 10–15 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
Technical Expertise:
- IGA: Saviynt (preferred) or SailPoint.
- PAM: CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea.
- SSO: Okta and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of IAM architecture, governance frameworks, RBAC/ABAC models, and access control mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with application onboarding, connector configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of audit, compliance, and identity lifecycle processes.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and articulation abilities.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
