Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced ERP Tester (JD Edwards) with a minimum of 10 years of QA/testing experience for a 6-month remote W2 contract based in Minneapolis, MN. The candidate will be responsible for testing ERP applications with a strong emphasis on JD Edwards (JDE), leveraging both manual and automation testing techniques, as well as API and backend validation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for JD Edwards applications.
• Execute manual and automated functional, regression, and integration testing across ERP modules.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Validate backend processes and data using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure test coverage and high-quality deliverables.
• Use test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Xray) to manage defects and track resolution.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to meet business and technical requirements.
• Follow QA best practices and ensure compliance with project standards.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of QA/testing experience, with extensive background in ERP systems (JD Edwards required).
• Strong expertise in manual and automation testing for ERP platforms.
• Proven hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent).
• Advanced SQL skills for backend and data validation.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Xray).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Active LinkedIn profile required for consideration.
