Epic Bridges Consultant

6+ Months Contract to Hire

Providence, RI (90% Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• System Integration: Design, build, test, and maintain interfaces using Epic Bridges tools and other integration platforms. 
• Data Exchange: Ensure seamless data exchange between Epic and other healthcare systems. 
• Workflow Analysis: Analyze and document workflows, providing documentation and optimization suggestions. 
• Technical Expertise: Apply technical expertise to build and troubleshoot client systems. 
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with client project teams and end users. 
• Project Management: Lead project status meetings and coordinate work products. 
• Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues. 
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of integrations. 
• Testing: Assist with testing activities to ensure proper functionality. 
• Training: May provide training to client teams on Epic Bridges. 
• Intermediary: Serve as a bridge between client teams and technical leads, facilitating communication and understanding of data structures and technology capabilities. 

Skills Required:

• Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in HL7, APIs, and other integration technologies. 
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and document workflows. 
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues. 
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with client teams and end users. 
• Project Management Skills: Experience in managing project timelines and deliverables. 
• Knowledge of Epic Systems: Familiarity with Epic’s architecture and functionalities.
