SAP RAR Consultant (FICO / SD / RAR) – 12+ Month W2 Contract

Job Summary

We are hiring SAP Consultants with Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) expertise for multiple long-term W2 contract roles in Sunnyvale, CA. Openings include:

• SAP FICO with RAR
• SAP SD with RAR
• SAP RAR Specialist

These are onsite/hybrid roles (2–3 days per week onsite), and we are only considering California-based or nearby state candidates who can work on a W2 basis. Consultants will contribute to a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation project, focusing on revenue recognition compliance and seamless integration across Finance and Sales modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP RAR solutions to ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Integrate RAR with SAP FICO and/or SAP SD modules, depending on role.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, design functional specifications, and implement enhancements.
• Support SIT/UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities for SAP RAR.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and end-user assistance related to RAR.
• Ensure proper data integration, reconciliations, and reporting for revenue processes.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and compliance audits.
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practices across the project team.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of SAP functional experience, including at least 5+ years of hands-on SAP RAR expertise.
• Strong experience configuring SAP RAR 1.3/2.0 and integrating with FICO and/or SD modules.
• Deep understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Proven track record in full lifecycle SAP implementations and rollouts.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be W2 only (no C2C, no 1099).
• Must be local to California or nearby states and available to work onsite in Sunnyvale.

Preferred:

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA RAR implementations.
• Consulting background in technology, semiconductor, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with SAP BRIM and third-party revenue recognition systems.
• Strong understanding of finance, order-to-cash, and compliance-driven business processes.

Contract Details

• Duration: 12+ Months (extensions likely) – W2 Contract
• Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – onsite 2–3 days/week, local or nearby state candidates only)
• Compensation: $80 – $85/hour (W2)
• Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday–Friday
