Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data visualization, business intelligence, and data modeling, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality reporting solutions. This is a long-term contract role requiring local candidates who can work onsite or in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models
• Develop and optimize complex DAX queries and calculations
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.)
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance of BI solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve report and data-related issues
• Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with strong focus on Business Intelligence
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse)
• Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, SSRS)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Must be local to Atlanta, GA
• Must be eligible to work on W2 (No C2C or sponsorship available)
