Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAS Programmer with 10+ years of expertise to support data-driven initiatives across multiple business domains. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, deep analytical capabilities, and experience working in complex, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs for data analysis and reporting
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation from multiple sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Support development of statistical reports, dashboards, and datasets
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and programming issues efficiently

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience
• Strong expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macros, and data step programming
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, banking, or pharma) is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualization platforms
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling techniques

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
