Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO Consultant with deep expertise in Supply Network Planning (SNP) – Optimizer and/or CTM, Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Demand Planning. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in maintaining and troubleshooting Core Interface (CIF) between SAP APO and SAP ECC, with a good functional understanding of ECC MM and PP modules. This is a remote position with a direct client based in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Configure and support SAP APO modules: SNP (Optimizer/CTM), PP/DS, and Demand Planning.

✅ Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP APO Core Interface (CIF) to ensure smooth data flow between ECC and APO systems.

✅ Analyze and resolve master/transactional data synchronization issues between ECC and APO.

✅ Design and implement SNP heuristics, Optimizer, and CTM based planning strategies.

✅ Configure and maintain PP/DS planning tools, including product heuristics, planning boards, and scheduling strategies.

✅ Lead and support Demand Planning configuration and statistical forecasting models.

✅ Work closely with business users to gather requirements, provide solution proposals, and configure systems accordingly.

✅ Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle activities including blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.

✅ Collaborate with ECC functional teams (MM, PP) for integration-related issues and enhancements.

✅ Prepare functional specifications for development teams and perform functional unit testing.

✅ Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

✅ Document solutions, configuration, and support procedures for ongoing reference.

Required Qualifications:

✅ 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP APO modules including:

• Supply Network Planning (SNP) – Optimizer and/or CTM
• Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
• Demand Planning

✅ Proven experience in configuring and maintaining SAP APO CIF integration with ECC.

✅ Strong troubleshooting skills for master data and transactional data replication via CIF queues.

✅ Solid knowledge of SAP ECC MM (Materials Management) and PP (Production Planning) modules.

✅ Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and industry best practices.

✅ Experience working in full lifecycle SAP APO implementation and support projects.

✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders.

✅ Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

✅ Experience with SAP S/4 HANA environments or transition planning from APO.

✅ Exposure to SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) is a plus.

✅ Knowledge of SAP SCM reporting tools and BW integration.

✅ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
