Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Time and Labor Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the Workday Time Tracking and Labor Management modules for our organization or clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking, understands time calculation rules, compliance requirements, and is well-versed in integrations and data management within the Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

✅Lead or support the implementation and configuration of Workday Time Tracking and Labor Management modules.

✅Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.

✅Configure time entry codes, time calculation rules, work schedules, time off plans, and accruals.

✅Collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Payroll, IT) to define and document system requirements.

✅Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting during implementations and upgrades.

✅Support integrations with payroll systems and third-party vendors.

✅Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company labor regulations and policies.

✅Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting for time tracking and labor functionality.

✅Train end-users and provide documentation for system usage and processes.

Required Qualifications:

✅9+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking configuration and support.

✅Experience with Workday HCM and Payroll modules.

✅Strong understanding of time and attendance practices and labor laws in the U.S.

✅Ability to write and modify time calculation rules in Workday.

✅Experience with EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.

✅Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

✅Effective communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

✅Workday certification in Time Tracking is preferred but not required.

Preferred Experience:

✅Experience working with union or shift-based workforce policies.

✅Prior experience with Workday implementations in large enterprise environments.

✅Familiarity with Agile methodologies or working in a project-based consulting model.
